QTEC provides evaluation and certification services on performance and appearance of textile products which are to be consumed in Japan or exported to oversea countries.
Technology Evaluation
QTEC evaluates technology of product inspection and others and issues the certificate. We issue the qualification to superior inspection technologists We also evaluate related manufacturing technology and issue the certificate.
Conformity Assessment
QTEC provides certification services, as a registered certification body based on Industrial Standardization Law, for manufacturers who would like to put the JIS Mark on their products. We also certify the many other textile JIS products, such as textile ropes.
Technical Guidance
QTEC provides technical guidance on Quality/Performance Evaluation, Appearance Inspection skills, Complaint Management, How to make testing standards, Sewing Specification and so on. QTEC guidance is provided by holding workshop or seminar, or at the production site. Guidance on correct label indication specified in The Household Goods Quality Labelling Law is also available. Upon request, we conduct survey and testing on individual commercial product and give advice for fair labeling.

Education and Training
QTEC holds well-programmed seminars for industry and consumers, such as on Basic Knowledge of Textiles, Quality Labelling, Performance Evaluation, etc. These seminars are held periodically in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya. "Knitting Experience Seminar" is also held by using flat knitting machine in Tokyo. We can also send our lecturers to outside seminars upon request.
Communication and Cooperation
QTEC has been cooperating in the activities of many domestic associations. We also cooperate to help Official Development Assistance (ODA). QTEC is a member of International Down and Feather Bureau (IDFB) as an accredited testing body. We have been communicating with overseas governmental inspection offices in Korea, China and Vietnam. We are also in cooperation with international testing/inspection organizations.
