Japan - Korea Inspection Center (renamed QTEC KATRI Testing Center in Jul. 1994) established.

The three inspection organizations mentioned above joined together and the QTEC was established as a new foundation.
1994
Japan Twisted Yarn & Sewing Thread Inspection Foundation (established in 1948) integrated into QTEC.
1996
SIC - QTEC Testing Center (Shanghai Testing Center) established.
Received ISO9002 certification (switched to ISO9001 in April 2002).
1997
Hard and Bast Fiber Inspection Institute Foundation (established in 1948) integrated into QTEC.
Obtained qualifications to be the Japan National Laboratory Accreditation (JNLA) based on the Industrial Standardization Act (ISO/IEC 17025).

CCIC - QTEC Testing Center (Qingdao Testing Center) established in Qingdao, China.
2003
WIC - QTEC Testing Center (Wuxi Testing Center) established in Wuxi, China.
2006
QTEC was accredited as Certification Body according to Industrial standardization Law of Japan.
2007
SQID - QTEC Testing Center (Shenzhen Testing Center) established in Shenzhen, China.
2009
QTEC Tokyo Multifunctional Laboratory established at Minato - ku, Tokyo (Uniting Industrial Material Testing Center, Livingware Testing Center, TFT Testing Center, and Chemical Analysis Center).
2010
QTEC Dhaka Testing Center (Dhaka Lab) established in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

QTEC Shanghai Testing Center acquired Wuxi Testing Center to form its new subsidiary.
